Altaf Hussain and his murderering accomplices deserve to be tried for
their crimes against Pakistan. I've been threatened by them on many
occasions in the past 15 years. One particular time was when I refused
to perform at Altaf's marriage function in Karachi and London where
all the other artists, including Ali Azmat, were browbeaten to go and
perform for his "majesty's" pleasure. The man who threatened me was
called "khalid bin walid" who was a known terrorist and a murderer.He
told me that Altaf Hussain, "his Quaid" had especially demanded me to
appear with Junoon to perform at their ceremony function.
When I refused to comply he called up my staff and my sound company
guy, Ishtiaq Ahmed, and threatened them with dire consequences if I
didnt go. Ishtiaq pleaded with me to go and perform or risk being
killed,and all this OVER REFUSING TO PLAY AT A MARRIAGE FUNCTION!
As fate would have it,I'm still alive, but Mr.Walid was killed a
few weeks later in a shootout in Karachi with Haqiqi activists.(Those
who live by the sword die by the sword).
In 1992,they also threatened to abduct my wife and children if I didnt
show up at an MQM rally and welcome their leader Azim Tariq. I still
live happily with respect and dignity but alas Azim Tariq was also
was killed in a mob feud. My friends, Junaid Jamshed and Sajid Hassan
worried for my safety told me that I'm putting my family at risk
everytime I refuse to obey these goons and on every occasion I told
him that if I give into their terror tactics I can not call myself a
Muslim.
Allah is our protector and He has commanded us to stand up against
injustice and that is why I applaud Imran Khan for speaking the truth
about Altaf Hussain and his goon squad. I think the time has come for
all Pakistanis to stand up and be counted. Do you want to live as a
citizen of a country with dignity and all your rights protected or as
a slave in someone's fiefdom?

We have witness and tactics and Lies from current sindh government, they are just liars and terrorists.
There is a constant climate of coercion against all norms of civility at the hand of some ethnic extremists. One after another, the judiciary, the media and now even the artists are being meted out an attitude of intimidation.
Three senior journalists, two working for Agence France Press and one for Associated Press have
received envelopes with gun bullets. This happens just four days after a council of ethnic extremists declared putting those journalists on a black list.
What took place in Karachi on 12 May quelled moderate elements of the country's industrial, shipping hub and business capital. One wonders if the champions of enlightened moderation at the centre and their henchmen in Sind could tell if their recent actions:
- have taken moderation forward?
- pushed it backwards? or
- have left it unaffected?
In effect, a free hand was given to mobs to mercilessly quell moderate lawyers and quashing enlightened journalists who were covering the events.
There are sad indications that irreparable blows have been inflicted on key components of the civil society in Pakistan that mostly comprise of, represent and cater to vastly moderate elements of Pakistan’s society:
Was it really necessary to harass and intimidate the Karachi's lawyer community?
In fact, Altaf Hussain's policies and actions are a disservice to Western efforts to promote moderation in Pakistan. Why then Altaf Hussain has launched a confrontation with the country's educationally and professionally enlighted and most moderate legal personnel?
The Urooj Zia episode is a telling evidence of what kind of treatment is meted out to eduated female professionals by groups claiming to be the vanguard of moderation!

It also speaks of the attitude accorded to journalists even when they happen to pass by a street. The fact that a gun was placed on Urooj Zia's head speaks for itself the sanctity of a peaceful citizen disregarded and disgraced. What adds salt to the injury is the indifferent, unhelpful and rather shameful attitude of those expected to enforce law and order and provide all possible protection to law abiding citizens.

It is actually a persistence posture of intimidation evident for the past five years that MQM is a coalition partner in Sind province and at the centre.

Media activists should demand from MQM how much it has has helped Pakistan move towards pluralistic, tolerant and accomodative polity?

The whole civil society of pakistan now stand up against the MQM thugs and fascist group,and now MQM is finding no way to escape it.
It is about time that someone like Imran khan should stand up and exposed the real face of Altaf hussain and MQM.

How CIA or Al-CIA-DAH killed Bhutto ?
Only two yanks/israelis were the field operatives for the operation.
One sniper was chosen that looks like a pakistani. He was far away.

2/ The bomb operator observed it and triggered the bomb sacrificing his cannon fodder and make it look like al-qaida bomb assasination attempt and upon more investigation a coverup of a sniper, possibly Musharraf.

Ethnicity should not be the basis of politics. Hatred only begets hatred. There was no need of killing people in Karachi in the name of protest.
